Inbetween

Inbetween is a project of aurally recorded interviews about a momentary lived utopia. Rather than the traditional definition of utopia as an unfathomable perfect time or place, this project posits that utopia is made of brief moments experienced in our relationship with ourselves and others. Over twenty to forty minutes, I ask participants about what this utopia might look and feel like in their everyday lives. Rather than focusing on peak experiences, this conversation is a moment to reflect on our lives, on our values and ideals, and how they influence our experience of a momentary utopia.
